Detroit Diesel names new appointments

DETROIT, (May 6, 2004) — Detroit Diesel Corp. has announced the formation of two new departments to further enhance customer support.

Jeff Wallis has been named senior vice-president of Parts, Service and Customer Support. Wallis joined Detroit Diesel in 1988 and has held positions of increasing responsibility in Aftermarket Parts Sales and Remanufacturing, including his most recent assignment as vice-president of Parts Sales and Marketing.

Reporting directly to Wallis will be a combination of existing and newly formed departments including Parts, Service, Warranty and Technical Support.

Glenn Lysinger will assume the position of chief quality officer., including his most recent assignment as vice president of Customer Assurance.

Detroit Diesel is a subsidiary of DaimlerChrysler AG.
