Dorsey, ArvinMeritor sign three-year supply agreement
TROY, Mich. (July 4, 2002) — Vehicle component maker ArvinMeritor said yesterday that Dorsey Trailer Co. will make ArvinMeritor suspensions, axles, and slack adjusters standard equipment.
The three-year agreement is effective immediately. It includes the RideStar Highway Parallelogram (RHP) air-ride suspension, TN, TP, and TQ axles, and Meritor automatic slack adjusters.
Dorsey produces customized semi-trailers including dry freight, furniture and refrigerated vans, plus specialized flatbed and dump trailers.
