Double-decker trailer tracks from Ancra

Ancra International
Ancra International has unveiled its new Lift-A-Deck II, which the company says is an improved solution for double-decking loads in trailers and truck bodies.

The Lift-A-Deck II uses a narrow aluminum, low-profile “aircraft” style cargo track to create a second deck height for palletized freight. Easy to configure, the system is ideal for hauling fragile products that are low in weight per foot and high in volume, are easily damaged and cannot be stacked, and requires sortability and segmentation.

It is available in four styles: A low profile single row S-track, low profile single row flange S-track, a standard single row S-track, and a double row flange S-track. The track can be ordered in both 72 and 100-inch lengths. The 72-inch is standard, while the 100-inch is used when a customer wants to track the bottom edge of the top rail to the top of the scuff plate. Tracks can also be ordered in custom lengths.

The company says, unlike most tracks, Lift-A-Deck II does not require routine maintenance and lubrication is never required. Service parts are available if the beams get damaged.
