Eaton names aftermarket vehicle solutions exec
KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Eaton Corp. announced the appointment of Scott Adams as business unit manager for the Vehicle Solutions unit of its Truck Aftermarket Division.
In his new role, Adams will be responsible for overall leadership of the Vehicle Solutions Business Unit and the management of its product and service offerings, including Eaton’s Fleet Resource Manager suite of mobile resource management products and services, Mobile Diagnostic tools and solutions, and VORAD safety systems.
He will also manage the strategic alliance between Eaton and @Road, a leading provider of mobile resource management solutions, with whom Eaton co-markets its Fleet Resource Manager.
Adams began his career with Eaton as an engineering project manager in its Manufacturing Technologies Center. Since then, he has progressed through various leadership positions within Eaton including operations, product development and program management. In his most recent position, he served as manager, Business Development for the Light & Medium Duty Transmission Division.
