ExpoCam on pace for sell out
MONTREAL — It’s tough out there, eh? But don’t tell that to Quebec truckers and suppliers, because based on interest at ExpoCam 2009, many have nothing but business on their minds.
Newcom Business Media, the owner and operator of ExpoCam (and Today’s Trucking magazine) reports that despite industry softness 80 percent of exhibits have been sold with two months to go.
ExpoCam 2009, Canada’s national truck show, takes place at Place Bonaventure in Montreal from April 16th to 18th. The show provides fleet owners and managers with a one-stop source of information on products they need to operate more efficiently.
It can make the difference between staying in business and becoming another statistic, show manager Elizabeth McCullough says.
Not only is more than 80 percent of the exhibit floor booked, but more than 6,000 industry members, mostly from Quebec, New Brunswick and Ontario have pre-registered. "What’s especially important is that 28 percent of pre-registrants are senior managers or owners. These are the crucial industry decision makers," said McCullough.
