Fleetway Transport vice-president Mark Rees dies at 33
BRANTFORD, Ont. (April 17, 2002) — Mark Rees, vice-president of Fleetway Transport of Brantford, Ont., died Sunday after a battle with leukemia. He was 33.
Rees leaves his wife, Dawn, and two children. He also leaves a strong legacy in his industry and community. Rees was past president of the Brantford Traffic Club, and was a past director of the Ontario Trucking Association. He also was a volunteer firefighter.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today at the McCleister Funeral Home in Brantford. Rees will be buried at Farringdon Burial Ground.
The family said memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia Research Fund of Canada.
