Food shipment seminar for Canadian carriers in NY
TORONTO– A seminar is being hosted in New York state aimed at helping importers and exporters better understand the process of successfully introducing food product from Canada into the United States marketplace.
The Ontario Trucking Association says the seminar takes place on Thursday, October 6 from 8:30 am to 4 pm (PARC Conference Centre in Plattsburgh, New York). Pre-registration is required, cost to attend is US$50
The program illustrates how the process works, including: life cycle of an import (CFIA export requirements); role of the FDA Prior Notice Centre, role of Customs and Border Protection, FDA entry review process the role of FDA laboratories and more.
