Freightliner brings Coronado back strong
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (March 21, 2002) — After having the business fall under its feet last year, Freightliner Trucks will ramp up production of the Coronado heavy-duty truck model starting this June. The Coronado is Freightliner’s flagship truck for owner-operators.
The announcement, which came at the Mid-America Truck Show, comes after Freightliner decided to hold back production of the Coronado last year, despite high expectations when it was originally unveiled.
“We said it before, we’ll say it again, we still think this is the most beautiful truck on the market,” said Mark Lampert, Freightliner’s senior vice-president of sales and marketing.
