Gentle Riser from Rogers

Rogers Bros.
For those hauling multiple pieces of paving equipment Rogers Bros. has now introduced a unique Gentle Riser feature on trailers for increased payloads.

The Gentle Riser has a 16° angle of incline for safe, easy access from the deck to the rear frame and is specifically designed for hauling multiple pieces of equipment such as pavers, rollers and brooms. An optional depressed riser plate accommodates the center track of a pavement profiler .

This feature is available from 35 through 60 tons capacity . Deck length ranges from 22″ to 28″ long, and from 8’6″ to 10″ wide. An optional 3″ rear ledge with a bumper stop adds extra loading space without increasing the wheel base.

As with all Rogers’ detachable gooseneck models, the Gentle Riser uses the ground-hugging Croucher design that incorporates tapered mainbeams for maximum loading stability . The patented No Foot self-lifting gooseneck which operates on low hydraulic pressures and utilizes standard truck-tractor PTO, raises or lowers the deck under a full load.

The Gentle R1ser is available with either air ride or severe duty suspensions for higher axle load ratings and extended tire wear .
