Glasvan chief passes the torch
MISSISSAUGA, Ont. (Feb. 17, 2004) — George Cobham has appointed his son Paul D. Cobham as president of Glasvan Great Dane, Glasvan Trailers Inc., and Glasvan Equipment Lease Company Ltd. Glasvan is the Ontario distributor of Savannah, Ga.-based Great Dane Trailers.
George Cobham will assume the position of Chairman and C.E.O. of the Glasvan group of companies.
Paul Cobham has held several positions within the companies laterally as vice-president of operations.
Glasvan also represents Maryville, Kan.-based Landoll — a specialty trailer manufacturer of material handling trailers, utility trailers and low boys — as well as Capacity of Texas, a premium manufacturer of shunt tractors.
