OSHAWA, Ont. (May 29, 2002) — General Motors of Canada announced suggested retail prices for its Chevy Kodiak and GMC TopKick C4500-C5500 Series medium-duty trucks.

MSRP for the class-4 C4500 is $41,895 for a regular cab, $41,115 for a cutaway, and $41,780 for a motor home. MSRP for the class-5 C5500 is $43,750 for a regular cab, $42,970 for a cutaway, and $43,635 for a motor home. Prices do not include a destination freight charge of $1275.

GMC TopKick C6500, C7500, and C8500 series prices in June.

The Kodiak and TopKick have been redesigned and engineered from the ground up for 2003, with improved manoeuvrability, handling, and visibility, an expanded powertrain lineup, and upgraded serviceability, said Donna Martin, brand manager for medium-duty trucks.

“With our expanded product portfolio,” Martin added, “our commercial customers now have more choice than ever before — from regular and commercial cutaway chassis cabs to vocational packages like school bus, fire and rescue, ambulance, shuttle bus, wrecker, and snowplow.”
