Goodyear named International tire supplier
AKRON, Ohio — Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company today said its commercial tires are now the primary spec available for all International Truck & Engines vehicles.
Steve McClellan, vice-president of Goodyear commercial tire systems, said, “We are extremely pleased to have been chosen by International Truck for use on its long-haul trucks, regional delivery trucks, mixed-service trucks and buses.”
Goodyear’s fuel-efficient Fuel Max Technology tires and self-sealing DuraSeal mixed-service tires are eligible for selection by International Truck customers, McClellan said. The company’s Fuel Max tires are standard equipment on the International ProStar family of tractors.
