Goodyear receives “SPARC” award from Spartan Chassis
AKRON, Ohio — Goodyear has received Spartan Chassis’ “SPARC” Award for commercial tires installed on Spartan recreational vehicle and fire truck chassis.
Spartan Chassis, part of Charlotte, Mich.-based Spartan Motors, said the award involves product quality, supply and delivery, engineering and technical support, sales and marketing and training and warranty support.
“(This award) is a major milestone in our relationship with Spartan Chassis,” said Kris Fettig, Goodyear account executive for commercial original equipment tire sales. “We believe this achievement will further strengthen our association.”
“Goodyear delivered quality products on-time with outstanding overall support,” said Larry W. Finney, senior purchasing manager for Spartan Chassis. “We respect the effort that went into Goodyear achieving success, and Spartan would like to honour that effort.”
