Haldex ASA factory receives Freightliner Masters of Quality award
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (May 27, 2002) — Haldex announced that it has received the Freightliner Masters of Quality supplier quality award for its Blue Springs, Mo., facility, which manufactures automatic brake adjusters. Haldex has received the honour for providing products and service of outstanding quality, as well as outstanding overall performance.
For the past 15 years, Freightliner has issued the award to suppliers who have met or exceeded the truck maker’s stringent quality standards, and those that have demonstrated an ongoing commitment to improving the quality of their products.
Suppliers are ranked and rated in several key areas, including purchasing, engineering, quality, responsiveness, support, service, service parts for Alliance and warranty. Final selection is based on those suppliers that have demonstrated extremely high performance standards in each area, and those with exemplary quality.
