Haldex finalizes acquisition of Anchorlok, Neway

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Jan. 17, 2002) — The Haldex Group said yesterday it has finalized the acquisition of the Anchorlok air brake actuator and Neway suspension control valve businesses from the Holland Group of Holland, Mich.

Plants in Monterrey, Mexico, and Grand Haven, Mich., will be integrated into Haldex Brake Systems, headquartered in Kansas City, Mo., the company said.

Management teams from the two acquired businesses will join Haldex, and continue with current operational responsibilities.

“The benefit of this acquisition to our customers and the commercial vehicle industry is access to the most comprehensive range of brake actuation and air suspension control products,” said Chuck Kleinhagen, president of Haldex Brake Systems.

The agreement was announced last month. Financial terms were not disclosed.
