HDDC raises $23,000 for Hospital for Sick Children Foundation
ST. THOMAS, Ont. (July 19, 2002) — The Heavy Duty Distributor Council, an association of parts manufacturers and distributors in Canada, has donated $23,000 to the Hospital for Sick Children Foundation.
The money was raised in June during the group’s annual meeting in St. Andrews, N.B. It was the organization’s second donation to the charity in as many years, for a total of more than $40,000.
The Hospital for Sick Children Foundation is the fundraising arm of the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, recognized as Canada’s premier pediatric hospital.
