High winds park trucks on Confederation Bridge

CHARLOTTETOWN, PEI — Dozens of Maritime truckers were idled at the Confederation Bridge idled for nearly 24 hours this week because of high winds
Dozens of trucks parked on both sides of the bridge finally got moving yesterday.

Tyson Kelly, general manager of Bulk Carriers, told the Guardian newspaper he lost a lot of money.

Luckily for him, his trucks are equipped with auxiliary power systems, which allowed drivers to keep warm without idling.
