Horton reorganizes OEM, aftermarket units
MINNEAPOLIS (Jan. 22, 2001) — Horton Inc., a Minneapolis-based manufacturer of cooling system components for heavy trucks, has reorganized the company into separate business units focusing on original equipment manufacturers and aftermarket customers.
Kevin Vick was named vice-president of the aftermarket group. Jim O’Rourke is vice-president of the OEM unit.
Horton president and COO Randall Nord said each business unit would have complete profit and loss responsibility with dedicated application engineering, sales and marketing, and manufacturing resources. A new central Business Development function, headed by former engineering vice-president Ron Losee, will direct new product and market development for each business unit.
