Inland Kenworth named Kenworth Canadian dealer of the year
KIRKLAND, Wash. (March 10, 2000) — Inland Kenworth, with headquarters in Burnaby, B.C., was named Kenworth Canadian Dealer of the Year for 1999 at Kenworth Truck Co.’s recent dealer meeting in Scottsdale, Ariz.
It was the third time the dealership has won the award.
“We’re honored to be named Dealer of the Year,” said Jim Beiderwieden, Inland Kenworth’s general manager. “The award is a reflection of our employees’ hard work and their dedication to continuing customer relationships.”
Inland Kenworth employs more than 575 people in Canada, and has 25% market share in its territory. It has 16 facilities in British Columbia and a location in the Yukon. It also has facilities in the Western United States. The company plans to broaden its service capabilities by replacing facilities in Langley and Campbell River with new, larger branch locations.
The Canadian Dealer of the Year is awarded based on performance by each dealership’s sales, management practices, personnel, parts and service capabilities, profitability, and facilities.
