ALEXANDRIA, Va. (April 1, 2004) — The Professional Truck Driver Institute recently certified and recertified the truck driver training courses for 10 schools — including Kim Richardson Transportation Specialists in Caledonia, Ont.
A total of 61 truck-driver schools now offer PTDI-certified courses in 28 states and Canada.
PTDI — made up of stakeholders, carriers, schools, insurance companies, safety engineers, risk managers, and government — develops driving school standards and program curriculum for entry-level truck drivers in North America.
