KRTS partners with firm on Canadian drivers’ handbook

CALEDONIA, Ont. — Accent Technical Publications has signed a working agreement with KRTS Transportation Specialists in Caledonia, Ont. in the creation of a Canadian version of Delmar’s third edition Tractor Trailer Driver Handbook.

“We at Accent have been very successful marketing the Tractor Trailer Driver Handbook which is endorsed by the Professional Truck Driving Institute (PTDI),” says Carl Kennedy, sales manager of Accent Technical Publications. “Canadian companies and consumers are telling us they want a Canadian version.”

Adds KRTS’s Kim Richardson:

“Canada needs their own version of the Tractor Trailer Driver Handbook. We at KRTS, as with many other training schools in Canada, are using the Delmar book,” he says. “The content is well received by our clients and our instructors, but it does lack Canadian content. We look forward to assisting Accent in the marketing of the publication, to training companies, trucking companies and transportation associates.”

The Canadian version of the Tractor Trailer Driver Handbook will be available in the spring of 2007.
