Mac Tools’ X-1 light’s the spot

Mac Tools
The innovative Mac X-1 Angle Light by Columbus, Ohio-based Mac Tools is designed to eliminate mistakes caused by poor lighting conditions and increases productivity for technicians in and around the work area, the company says.

The X-1 Angle Light is designed to produce 20% more light output efficiency than previous angle lights from Mac Tools. The translucent plastic lens of the X-1 is shaped around the bulb, allowing for better visibility, and the lens is made of a heavy-duty polycarbonate casing that also provides safety, heat protection, and durability for technicians who may use this light in extreme work areas. Illuminated by a 13-watt patented ‘Rough Service’ bulb, it provides technicians up to 12,500 hours of lamp life under normal usage.

Equipped with an adjustable magnet and 360-degree swivel hook, technicians have the option of either suspending or stabilizing the light direction of the desired work area. In addition, the X-1’s 50-foot heavy-duty power cord has a 13-amp tool tap, which allows the light to double as an extension cord.
