Mack dealers get own websites
LEHIGH VALLEY, Pa., (October 22, 2003) — Mack Trucks has announced it will be offering its dealer network a do-it-yourself Web template to help dealers enhance their on-line presence.
Offered at no cost to any Mack dealer who wants to create its own website, the template package includes a home page, sections for showroom, sales, parts, service, leasing, new and used truck inventory, careers, and a page where promotions or sales can be advertised. The also includes three additional pages that dealers can use to create content specifically targeted to their businesses.
The company says the overall look of the template mirrors that of the new Mack Web site launched last Spring, which focuses on Mack’s core businesses — construction, refuse and heavy distribution. In addition to viewing information about Mack and its products, visitors can also locate Mack dealers, and download brochures and photos.
