Maddocks readies dispatch program for AS/400
LANGLEY, B.C. (May 3, 2001) — Maddocks Systems, developer of dispatch systems for commercial truck fleets, is preparing to release a version of its TruckMate for Windows software optimized to run on IBM AS/400 network servers.
The company hopes the introduction of an AS/400 product will appeal to larger truck fleets with the computing power to handle a higher volume of trips and individual bills.
Maddocks also plans to release version 5.0 of TruckMate for Windows at its annual users conference, to be held Sept. 16-19 in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ont.
