Major Detroit highway work scheduled next month
DETROIT, (March 9, 2004) — After crawling through the bottlenecks and traffic congestion in Windsor, Ont. some Canadian truckers crossing into Detroit will notice there might not be any relief come April.
The Michigan Department of Transportation will commence construction on six major road projects in the Detroit Area that will affect major truck routes. They include the I-75, I-94 I-96, I-696, M-10 (Lodge Freeway), and M-39 (Southfield Freeway).
