Make Your Yard Fuel Tanks Disappear
RICHMOND HILL, ON – Eastern Canadian fleets have a new fuel-management option open to them.
Ready to Roll is the fuel-delivery operation launched May 1 by Bluewave Energy, a division of Parkland Commercial Fuels. Bluewave, according to Parkland’s Vice President Commercial Fuels East and Lubricants, William Rouse, is one of Canada’s largest independent fuel distributors.
According to Hasan Razak, a marketing specialist with Parkland, “Ready to Roll is a turnkey fleet-fueling solution that delivers diesel fuel directly into transportation vehicles and construction equipment at the customers’ locations around the clock between shifts so they are fueled and ready to start the day.”
Ready to Roll will be best suited to fleets that return to their bases at night, Rouse told todaystrucking.com.
Customers will no longer need on-site fuel tanks. “Our customers are constantly looking for ways to manage their business efficiently, be environmentally friendly and reduce operating costs. Ready to Roll caters to that need,” Razak says.
Ready to Roll Key benefits include time-saving; cost-saving (no on-site storage or associated insurance costs); risk reduction; cost efficiencies and online access to fuel consumption data.
Razak also said Ready to Roll customers will have access to new secure web portal for access to management reports that will provide statistics such as volume and cost per unit or per site for a specified date range and current and historic invoices.
Razak reports a very positive response to Ready To Roll’s introduction.
“We have already signed up with some major accounts like ACL Hauling, Tuff recycling and Lancorp,” he said. The service has been launched only in Toronto for now, but the company plans to eventually cover the entire country. For more information, check www.bluewaveenergy.ca/readytoroll.
