McErlane named president of Bandag TDS

MUSCATINE, Iowa (Sept. 10, 2001) — Bandag Inc. has named John McErlane as its new corporate vice-president and president of the Tire Distribution Systems (TDS) subsidiary.

Previously, McErlane served as vice-president of marketing and sales at Bandag.

TDS owns and operates 103 tire sales, service and retreading locations in 17 states throughout the United States. The subsidiary primarily serves truck fleet customers and owner/operators of medium- and heavy-duty trucks. TDS has more than more than $400 million in net sales last year.
