Meritor tire inflation chosen by Talbert

TROY, Mich. — Talbert Manufacturing, a  of heavy haul trailers and specialized equipment producer, has chosen the Meritor Tire Inflation System (MTIS) as its preferred offering.

The announcement was made by Meritor and Pressure Systems International.

MTIS by PSI is a simple design that can be installed on any type of trailer including van, tank, flat bed, livestock, dump, doubles – you name it.

The technology — an automatic system with constant air pressure available when needed – is said to add life to tires, increases fuel efficiency and safety, maximizes recap potential, and keeps trailers on the road, the companies say.
