Michelin Publishes Road Atlas
The North America Road Atlas from Michelin Travel Publications is designed to make trip planning and travel easier for over-the-road truck drivers.
The book is arranged geographically, not alphabetically like most other atlas publications. The United States, Canada, and Mexico are divided into a sequence of squares, each one a simple-to-read map. Truckers can use “go-to” pointers to trace their route from one map to the next, without a lot of page flipping. Indeed, the spiral-bound book is compact (9-by-10-7/8 inches) and lies flat for easier navigating while driving.
For travel between major cities, Michelin’s atlas does the math with more than 170 easy-to-use distance charts. Eight additional maps provide greater detail of the U.S. Northeast (Washington, D.C., to Boston).
Michelin Travel Publications are available at book and map stores and through online retailers. To order a Michelin North America Road Atlas, call 1-888/610-5122.
