Mid America Truck Show kicks-off this week
LOUISVILLE, Ken. (March 22, 2004) — Seventy thousand trucking enthusiasts are getting ready to descend upon Louisville, Ken. later this week as North America’s largest truck show gears up.
The 33rd annual Mid-America Trucking Show kicks of this Thursday, March 25 and runs until Saturday March 27. Over 1,000 truck OEMs, industry suppliers, carriers, and technology providers will exhibit across a million square-feet of space at the Kentucky Fair & Exposition Center in Louisville, Ken.
The show will also feature dozens of trucking seminars and workshops in the South Wing Conference Center. There is also a Trucking Technology Center, which showcases the most advanced Internet technology in the trucking industry.
For entertainment, the show features the Charlie Daniels Band in concert on March 26, which is sponsored by Kenworth Truck.
Visitors can also check out all the chrome and glamour of trucking at the 4th Annual Paul K. Young Truck Beauty Championship, a “Stars & Stripes Event”, sponsored by Newport Communications.
