Mobil, Husky extend lube deal

CALGARY (Sept. 24, 1999) — Mobil Lubricants Canada and Husky Oil have agreed to a two-year extension of their lubricant supply agreement for marketing Mobil-branded lubricants in Canada. The new agreement will expire in December 2001.

Husky, through its Husky and Mohawk brands, has a retail marketing network of approximately 600 service stations from Vancouver Island to Ontario, which carry Mobil lubricants.

Husky distributes Mobil’s commercial and industrial lubricants to its natural gas, pulp and paper, and highway trucking customers. It is Mobil’s sole Canadian distributor in Alberta and British Columbia, and has marketing rights in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario.
