MTA looks to Big Freight for leadership

WINNIPEG — The Manitoba Trucking Association’s 28-member Board of Directors elected Earl Coleman of Big Freight Systems as president for the 2008/2009 term.

During the MTA’s 76th Annual General Meeting the board also named Brian Page of Winnipeg Motors Express as first vice-president and Susan Snyder of Searcy Trucking as second vice-president, while Clayton Gording of Reimer Express Lines assumes the role of past-president.

The executive committee of the MTA will consist of: Tom Payne of Payne Transportation, Norm Blagden of Bison Transport and Greg Arndt of Jade Transport.
