Multi-treatment Cartridge from Haldex

Haldex has introduced a new interchangeable multi-treatment desiccant cartridge for its DRYest and PURest air dryers.

The five-stage cleaning system begins by culling out solid particles through a fine corrosion- and chemical-resistant aluminum mesh. The air then flows through a series of desiccant beds where oil and water droplets are eliminated. As a final precaution, ultra-fine particulates are removed by a dust filter before the air enters the system.

The extended desiccant service life of the new cartridge means fewer replacements over the life of the vehicle. The compact, 11-inch-tall unit requires only a 1/2-inch vertical clearance. And its four-bolt slide-in/slide-out design allows for quick replacement while the cartridge is still on the vehicle — there are no hard-to-remove spin-on cartridges with seized threads.
