Name that mill

TERRACE, B.C. — Operation Fresh Start has begun at the Skeena Cellulose plant in Terrace, B.C., after the sale of the company was finally completed.

Truckers should finally have some freight to haul in the depressed region, thanks to the sale of the company to NWBC Timber.

Meanwhile, NWBC is seeking a new name for the company — one that "reflects the resiliency, determination and character of the northwest."

NWBC has started a contest, so employees, suppliers and local residents can submit their suggestions for naming the mill. The contest runs until May 18, with the winner getting an all-expenses paid weekend to a luxury hotel in Vancouver.
