NATMI partners with Kim Richardson training school

DENVER, Col. — North American Transportation Management Institute, a neutral certifying body of skills sets amongst transportation professionals, announced the forging of its partnership with Caledonia, Ont.-based KRTS and E&B Safety Consulting as NATMI Authorized Education Partners.

NATMI, which is overseen by the U.S.-based Truckload Carriers Association, is not-for-profit professional development organization for fleet safety, security, maintenance, and training professionals in the motor transportation industry. Its designations demonstrate professionals have mastered the competencies of a defined set of skills deemed the industry standard beyond their job titles,” said Joel Morrison, NATMI Director of Business Development.

NATMI is no stranger to the Ontario trucking industry. Many professionals have received their Certified Director of Safety designation and recently the Ontario Trucking Association hosted a certified Director of Safety course.

For Kim Richardson, president of KRTS, says the NATMI partnership enforces their commitment to their professional instructors and the Industry.

“Hopefully sometime in the future the Ontario government and legislative bodies will endorse NATMI and embrace higher education just as the industry has. The bottom line is better trained drivers and safer roads,” he said.
