Navistar secures $800 million in credit

WARRENVILLE, Ill. — Navistar International says its financial arm, Navistar Financial Corp., has renewed an $800 million credit facility.

Navistar, which makes International brand trucks, said its robust credit portfolio has given it access to borrowing at a time when lenders are pulling back from making loans, reports AP.

Navistar Financial provides financing for the OEMs customers and dealers.

"The ongoing support of our key relationship banks amidst today’s turbulent economy says a lot about their confidence in the health of the company and future growth opportunities," Chief Financial Officer Terry Endsley said in a statement.
