Elixion SW-30 is Castrol Heavy-Duty Lubricants’s latest diesel engine lube, a blend of synthetic-based oils and a high-performance additive package. With its SAE SW-30 viscosity grade, Elixion carries the new API CI-4 certification. It boasts an excellent low pour point for cold weather starts (-62 F) and maintains viscosity better than conventional mineral oils while reducing oil consumption by 30 per cent or more, the company says.
Elixion has extended-drain capability up to 60,000 miles, and Castrol offers its Labcheck lube analysis service free for one year so you can monitor the condition of your engines.
