Newcom buys logistics magazine
MONTREAL — The publisher of this website has announced the acquisition of Logistics Magazine, a publication focused on logistics and supply chain management.
Newcom Média Québec bought the title from Logistics Publishing of Mont Tremblant. The magazine has been published for over 10 years with both French and English editions.
“Logistics Magazine is a great addition to our group of publications specializing in the transportation industry,” says Joe Glionna, general manager of Newcom Média Québec. “We look to continue to grow our business and expand our expertise in Quebec and across Canada. Not only will Logistics Magazine benefit from our resources in the trucking industry but our existing trucking publications will also improve with this acquisition.”
Newcom Média Québec publishes Transport Routier magazine and produces the ExpoCam truck show in Montreal and CamExpo show in Quebec City.
Its sister-company, Newcom Business Media of Toronto publishes Today’s Trucking, highwaySTAR and TruckandTrailer magazines, as well as Canadian Technician and Plumbing and HVAC magazines. Newcom Business Media also produces Toronto’s Truck World show.
