Newcom takes over two western truck shows
TORONTO — Newcom Business Media, the publishing of this website and Today’s Trucking and highwaySTAR magazines, is set to launch new trucking trade shows in both Alberta and Manitoba.
The Rocky Mountain Truck Show in Edmonton, with a long-term endorsement from the Alberta Motor Transport Association, is planned for September 21-22, 2007. It replaces the previous Alberta version of the Truxpo show.
As well, Newcom is reviving an old favorite, the Manitoba Truck Show. Set for Winnipeg in October 2008, it is fully endorsed by the Manitoba Trucking Association.
Owned and operated by Newcom, both shows are also endorsed by the Canadian Trucking Alliance.
