Newcom truck mags nominated for 12 KRW awards
TORONTO — Today’s Trucking, Canada’s leading business resource for the trucking industry has been nominated for six prestigious Kenneth R. Wilson Awards by the Canadian Business Press.
In total, Newcom Business Media trucking magazines, which include highwaySTAR and Transport Routier, were nominated for 12 awards.
The KRW Awards, presented annually in Toronto by the Canadian Business Press, represent the best of trade and business magazine journalism in Canada.
Today’s Trucking editors and writers received nominations for Best Manufacturing Article and Merchandise-Marketing Article; and two for Best Resource-Infrastructure Article. The magazine was also nominated for the much-coveted Best Issue Award.
Todaystrucking.com was once again nominated for Best Website. TT.com has already collected a KRW Gold Award and two Silver Awards — the only business trade website in Canada to be honored in the top two in each of the three years since the award’s inauguration.
A highwayStar editorial was nominated for Best Editorial; while our French language publication, Transport Routier, was given the nod in five categories.
Newcom’s auto industry magazine, Canadian Technician, was also nominated for two awards.
