NRCan offers FleetSmart workshops

OTTAWA, (March 12, 2004) — Natural Resources Canada’s FleetSmart program is partnering with the Canadian Association of Motive Power Educators in offering free educational workshops across Canada on technologies to assist in fuel efficiency.

The program includes a presentation on the latest developments of the FleetSmart program; tools to assist transport fleets that are involved in fuel efficiency improvements; and case studies involving transport operators and manufacturers.

Locations and dates are as follows:

Bathurst, N.B. — March 19; New Brunswick Community College, 75 Prom Youghall,Room – 286C; Time: 8:30 – 12:00.

Calgary — March 22; Southern Alberta Institute of Technology; 1301, 16th Avenue NW, Room – T114; Time:
13:30 – 17:00.

Vancouver — March 23; British Columbia Institute of Technology, Great Northern Way Campus; 555 Great Northern Way; Room – 201F; Time: 8:30 – 12:00.

Moncton — March 31; New Brunswick Community College, Moncton Campus; 1234 Mountain Rd.; Room – B2065; Time: 8:30 – 12:00.

Toronto — April 7; Centennial College of Applied Arts and Technology, Ashtonbee Campus; 75 Ashtonbee Rd.; Room – D141; Time: 13:30 – 17:00.
