Ontario supplier among DTNA’s Masters of Quality
PORTLAND, Ore. — Hendrickson Truck, Stratford Spring Division of Stratford, Ont., was the Canadian-based supplier recognized by Daimler Trucks North America with a Masters of Quality Supplier Award.
Hendrickson Truck, Stratford Spring was among 29 North American manufacturers recognized for their top quality components for the Freightliner, Western Star, Thomas Built Buses, and Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation brands.
The 24-year-old program recognizes suppliers who meet or exceed DTNA’s stringent quality standards and demonstrate an ongoing commitment to improving the quality of their products.
Hendrickson-Stratford Spring has received the award for five years.
At he top of the list for multi-year recipients was Consolidated MetCo Inc., of Monroe, N.C., which has made the list 21 times.
"Despite increasing demands as the world pulls out of the recession, the Masters of Quality winners continued to meet our requirements day after day. This is no easy accomplishment. The Masters of Quality winners are the role models for our entire supplier base," added Paul Romanaggi, general manager supplier management, DTNA.
