Ontario thaw period could begin as early as Feb. 15
TORONTO (Feb. 12, 2001) — The Ontario Ministry of Transportation has advanced the start date of the reduced load period to Feb. 15 from March 1, according to the Ontario Trucking Association.
The association said carriers should be aware that starting this year, reduced loads could be posted as early as Feb. 15 where necessary to minimize any road damage.
