OTA Names 2001-2002 Road Knights Team
TORONTO [January 30, 2001] – Whittled down from a field of 87 candidates, short-listed to 20 for the final interviews, 12 professional truck drivers have emerged to serve as in-dustry ambassadors for the community outreach program known as the OTA Road Knights Team. The newly selected drivers, including two owner-operators, hail from throughout the province.
This is the fourth team OTA has assembled since the program’s inception in 1995. A total of 44 professional transport drivers have participated in the program to date.
The lucky 12, members of the 2001-2002 OTA Road Knights Team are, alphabetically:

The OTA Road Knights Team, all drivers with outstanding driving records and many with more than one million accident-free miles under their belts, will make presentations on how car and truck drivers can safely share the road. The team’s mission is to help make roadways safer by encouraging all road users to be partners in safety.
