Paul Harper named president of Diesel Capital
TORONTO (June 7, 2002) — Paul Harper has been named president of Diesel Capital Ltd., a holding company that includes Harper Detroit Diesel Ltd., the Ontario distributor of Detroit Diesel engines, Allison transmissions, Spectrum generator sets, and MTU marine and industrial engines.
Harper was president and general manager at Harper Detroit Diesel for the past seven years. The company named John Cosgrove as Harper’s successor.
“The demands of this new role are such that it was important for Paul to shed his time consuming operational responsibilities at Harper Detroit Diesel in favour of strategic ones,” said Diesel Capital chairman Ed Butcher.
