PeopleNet bulks up Canadian sales force
BURLINGTON, Ont. (Oct. 4, 2001) — PeopleNet Communications has expanded its Canadian sales team.
The company has hired Rob Pallante to manage its Eastern Canada sales territory. Pallante was previously a sales manager for New Communications Group, publisher of Today’s Trucking, highwaySTAR, and Transport Routier magazines.
Pallante joins Jason Friesen, who oversees Western Canada, and Bill Wright, who is responsible for accounts in Ontario. They report to Jamie Williams, sales director for PeopleNet Communications Canada, based in Burlington, Ont.
Headquartered in Minneapolis, PeopleNet Communications offers Internet-based mobile communications and tracking systems for the transportation industry. Its fleet management product combines cellular communications, satellite tracking, and the Internet for vehicle location, two-way data and voice communications, Internet services, vehicle performance reporting, and Palm OS platform integration.
