PeopleNet prod wins Frost & Sullivan award

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — Frost & Sullivan has recognized PeopleNet’s portable onboard fleet management computer, the Tablet, with its 2011 New Product Innovation Award.

Frost & Sullivan praised Tablet for its ability to maximize efficiency in all aspects of fleet operation, customize and extend fleet management solutions for higher ROI, and increase driver retention in the face of impending driver shortages.

"PeopleNet’s Tablet has set a new benchmark in fleet management services, by combining traditional fixed-mount systems with handheld computing systems," said Frost & Sullivan Research Analyst, Sathyanarayana Kabirdas.

The announcement was made at the annual National Private Truck Council convention in Cincinnati, Ohio.
