PeopleNet promotes Williams to vice-president, Canadian sales
MINNEAPOLIS (Jan. 7, 2001) — Fleet management and vehicle tracking specialist PeopleNet Communications named Jamie Williams vice-president, Canadian sales, for its transportation and logistics business.
The announcement is a promotion for Williams, who has served as the company’s sales director in Canada since early 2001.
David Ladner, general manager of PeopleNet’s transportation and logistics group, said the announcement “reinforces our emphasis on the Canadian transportation market as a high-growth opportunity for PeopleNet.”
Based in Minneapolis, PeopleNet provides Internet-based vehicle locating and mobile communication systems for long-haul transportation and metro-based fleets. Its wireless fleet management solutions combine GPS satellite locating; two-way in-vehicle data and voice communications; and online access fleet management tools.
