Peterbilt’s 330 model chosen as best conventional medium-duty truck

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (March 20, 2002) — Peterbilt Motors’ Model 330 was recognized by J.D. Power & Associates as 2001’s Best Product among Conventional Medium-Duty Trucks. The award was presented to Peterbilt general manager and PACCAR vice-president Nick Panza at the Mid-America Trucking Show.

The award is a result of a survey J.D. Power conducted with 1500 owner-operators of medium duty trucks. They were asked about a number of product attributes which included warranty, drivetrain, downtime, vehicle performance, and design and styling.

It is the second time in three years Peterbilt has been chosen for the award.
