Private truckers gearing up for conference
MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — The Private Motor Truck Council of Canada is gearing up for another jam-packed annual conference in Niagara.
The PMTC is encouraging anyone involved with a private fleet in Canada to attend on June 19 & 20 at the Queen’s Landing report in Niagara-on-the Lake.
Over the years this conference has become the single best opportunity for fleet managers to participate in educational and instructive seminars that offer plenty of ideas to make fleets more effective, says President Bruce Richards.
This year’s seminar agenda includes: Trucks and Terrorism — protecting your fleet from misuse; Human Resources — new tools for managing HR; Keeping It Green — leading initiatives on greening transportation operations; An Outlook on Trucking — the state of trucking in Canada today; and 2010 — technology needed to meet 2010’s emissions regulations.
